Colombia Palmera is another excellent coffee sourced by our new importer Ally Coffee out of South Carolina. This coffee is very traditional profile suited to please nearly everyone. The roast is dialed in to bring about sweetness and nuance with minimal sourness. Its chocolaty and slightly fruity profile will work best in filter brewing methods but also works great as espresso or french press.
From Ally Coffee:
[Colombia] Palmera is named for Colombia’s national tree. The country boasts hundreds of microclimates from its Caribbean coast in the north to its equatorial highlands in the south, and Palmera Supremo represents a classic fully washed profile, with balanced notes of sweet tropical fruit, spices, and rich chocolate. Full body and medium acidity are characteristic of clean Colombian coffees.
Palmera is sourced and processed with our partners Aromas del Sur in Pitalito, Huila, where they have a new state of the art dry mill that sorts, cleans, and selects coffee prior to preparing it for shipment. ...Palmera represents the hard work of many farmers and supports many communities of producers.
