Beautiful and versatile coffee that is sweet, big-bodied and carries a nuance cup profile of melon and malt. While this is definitely a flavor profile somewhat typical of this region of Brazil it is in no way a 'typical' coffee. The care and attention to detail in the picking, processing and drying of this coffee is incredibly apparent. It is super clean and unique. The roast is a 'medium' on our scale, and brings out a prominent sweetness and body that would be prefect for drip, french press or espresso.
Fazenda Riacho Das Varas is yet another single farm, single varietal coffee sourced by Ally Coffee. We have recently moved into buying more single farm, single varietal coffees as a part of our purchasing philosophy. Buying coffee is a way of educating ourselves and our customers on what coffee really is: a fruit with many different varieties, processing methods, and growing regions that each contribute to its overall flavor in the cup.

Roasted to Order
Coffee freshness matters. When you order online, your order will leave our shop in less than 72 hours. In most cases, orders purchased from our website are roasted every week on Wednesday and delivered or shipped on Thursday. If you order on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, and we happen to have your entire order in stock, your order may ship the same day. Otherwise, it will be queued for the next roast day.
